We Caught Big Numbers of Walleye Today

It was another cold morning on the Green Machine. We launched out of the Wyandotte ramp and headed upriver just before sunrise. Captain Chris caught the first two keeper walleye of the day. We were up to six fish in the box when Hoist Hoistington banged a 24 incher. Hoist had just switched his bait to a plastic fire tiger Bondy Worm, not even two minutes before. Matt Hartwig immediately copied the tactic and switched to the same lure. It was a good call, because here he is pictured with the big walleye of the day, a 25 inch female.

We fished American and Canadian waters for the rest of the morning on a good tip from A Hartz.
